We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join their actuarial team. The Actuarial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the pricing, reserving, and product development functions for life and supplemental health insurance products.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and pricing of life and supplemental health insurance products
  • Perform data analysis to support product development and profitability assessments
  • Conduct experience studies, including mortality, morbidity, lapse, and expense analysis
  • Support the reserving process by calculating reserves and preparing reserve reports
  • Collaborate with product development, underwriting, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
  • Prepare actuarial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial models
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure compliance and competitive positioning

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of applicable actuarial experience
  • Successful completion of at least 2-3 actuarial exams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with actuarial software and programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python) is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Compensation

$80,000 to $100,000
