Insurance job opening in Kansas City with a national insurance broker! As Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager, you manage a fully funded book of 100 ees and less accounts like an Account Executive and support (100+ lives) accounts on a multi-person team.
- Lead all client management and retention efforts for the agency’s small group health cases, fully funded, from 2-99 lives. Typically, these accounts generate less than $5k in agency commission.
- You are the client consultant, liaison, marketer and problem solver for small business group medical and ancillary benefit plans.
- Support a Senior Benefits Account Executive with administration on a self-funded book of business
- You possess two really key qualities- 1) strong customer service skills and 2) efficient with processing administrative tasks for a high volume of clients.
Experience Needed: Employee benefits insurance experience within the insurance industry; agency background is strongly preferred.
