Insurance Job Description

Our client is a young up and comer in the Wholesale Property Broker insurance market.  Through their proprietary software applications, our client provides a state-of-the-art policy administration system with real-time underwriting, issuance, reporting, and capacity risk management. Utilizing their risk management and software flexibility, they provide program management capabilities for personal and commercial risks. They presently offer an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded property broker to join their organization. 

Property Broker Responsibilities:

  • You'll partner with retail agents to examine risk exposures, discuss marketing strategies and secure new and renewal business. 

  • You'll utilize strong marketing and negotiating skills to navigate the marketplace to secure the most competitive terms, conditions, and pricing available.   

Property Broker Requirements:

  • Three to five or more years of production experience as a broker. No particular niche required but some exposure to coastal risks would be beneficial.

  • Strong track record of sales success with ability to generate a $300K - $500K revenue book of business in first three years.

  • Strong carrier underwriter relationships with the ability to procure new markets.

  • High energy entrepreneurial outlook.
