Insurance Job Description

Our client offers accident and health insurance and reinsurance coverage for employers, affinity groups, financial institutions and other customers through insurance carriers, managing general underwriters, brokers, third party administrators, and other key distributors.  In addition, they offer insurance programs, such as Student Accident and Sickness insurance and Special Risks insurance, including insurance for youth activities, day care and nonprofit groups. 

Special Risk Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with special risk distribution channels including MGU's, MGA's, Wholesalers

  • Identify new distribution sources to sell A&H products and services

  • Develop new MGU, MGA relationships

  • Work with underwriting on conducting due diligence process on new distribution partners 

Special Risk Account Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Special Risk business including amateur youth sports, K-12 Accident, Daycare, Camps.

  • Minimum of 7 years of business development within the Special Risk community

  • Strong existing relationships with distribution channels including MGU's, MGA's, Wholesalers

  • Strong written, oral and presentation skills
