Insurance Job Description

Our client is a Wholesale Broker and was founded to be a preferred aggregator of small to mid-size retail agencies to top markets by offering a strong distribution platform, a comprehensive training plan for each agent and streamlined services which will improve the profitability and efficiency of the insurance value chain. Based in California they have offices located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego, CA. They seek an experienced broker or carrier marketing rep to build a new wholesale broker book in any of these three locations.  They have the markets and are interested in need professionals with relationships in CA to grow a book of business. 

Broker Requirements:

  • Looking for someone that can grow a book to about $250k to $350k in 18 to 24 months.

  • Average premium is $30k per account.

  • The person they hire could be a traditional broker or a carrier marketing rep.

  • Someone that has relationships with retail agents and can get their foot in the door.

  • They would also be interested in someone that can bring a book of business with them.
