Insurance Job Description

Our client is a global provider of specialty lines insurance. They presently offer an opportunity to join their growing organization. My client anticipates a significant portion of its new business to come from program managers (MGA’s/MGU’s). The on boarding and management of these programs will require someone to manage data collection, policy issue, due diligence and day-to-day administration. The Program Administrator will support the growth, maintenance and administration of these programs.  This position will fill a critical and sensitive support role for Sales, Underwriting and Operations. 

Program Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Peer Reviews preparation / coordination (underwriting and MGA/MGU’s).

  • Due Diligence / Fit analysis.

  • Systems and Data Compatibilities and Data Quality.

  • Forms Creation and Management.

  • Marketing material coordination with MGA/MGU and home office.

  • On boarding of MGA/MGU’s and their clients.

  • Relationship Management.

  • Policies and Procedures used to onboard, manage and audit. 

Program Administrator Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years MGA/MGU’s / Carrier or Broker experience.

  • 5 plus years experience in Accident and Health Program Business.

  • College Degree preferred.

  • Previous experience working with pre / post sale MGA/MGU’s processes.

  • Demonstrated ability of project management, execution and drive to get the responses necessary to close the sale.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong MS office skills, with a focus in MS Excel and MS Access skills.
