Our client is rated A+ by A.M. Best. They are a specialist in their niche. They currently offer an opportunity to join their underwriting department.

Commercial Lines Underwriter responsibilities:

  • Responsible for writing a profitable, quality book of business dealing with their niche policies and coverages.

  • This includes selecting, pricing and monitoring risks while maintaining quality business relationships.

  • You will review applications on new and renewal business, coordinate and discuss with safety for review of risks and actuarial department for experience/rates.

Commercial Lines Underwriter qualifications:

  • Around three (3) to seven (7) years of successful commercial lines underwriting experience.

  • Proven relationship building skills required.

  • Work towards the CPCU designation preferred.
