Insurance Job Description

Our client is a property and casualty carrier providing insurance primarily for small businesses, such as restaurants, apartments, auto repair shops, and night clubs.  They offer a great work environment, where people enjoy coming to work and where people are recognized and appreciated.  They presently offer an opportunity to join their claims team in a Commercial Casualty Adjuster role.  

Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate is expected to resolve casualty claims by conducting proper and thorough investigations of coverage and liability, supervising litigation, and conducting timely and effective negotiations. 

  • The position requires regulatory compliance, familiarity with tort law, some assistance to adjuster trainees. 

Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster Requirements:

  • This is an “inside” position at our client's home office in Woodland Hills, California, but may include some traveling to attend MSCs, mediations, etc. 

  • You must have a working knowledge of insurance coverage and proper claims procedures in the investigation and evaluation of commercial casualty claims. 

  • The successful candidate might also be required to investigate and resolve aspects of first and third party auto damage claims.
