This national Pharmacy Benefit Manager is experiencing rapid growth in a number of niche business areas.  Its unique clinical model has proven extremely successful in managing the most difficult patients, supporting excellent patient care, and providing savings to the bottom line.  Our client is a clinically focused pharmacy management company that specializes in the specific needs of Workers Compensation. Business Development positions are available in various geographies within the Workers Compensation division.  You will be responsible for identifying potential customers within an assigned territory and forming long-term contractual relationships to provide pharmaceutical and ancillary services.

Business Development Manager / Sales Executive responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complete information on prospects, which include insurance companies, self-insured companies & TPA's, in designated territory.

  • Develop relationships with the leadership and decision-makers of prospects in designated territory and close new business for the Company.

  • Become the expert on regulatory and legislative environment within designated territory.

Business Development / Sales Executive requirements:

  • BA / BS in related field required.  MBA or Master's Degree highly desirable.

  • Workers Compensation, Pharmacy Benefit Management, Managed Care experience highly preferred.

  • Two to five years direct sales experience with successful track record of exponential, attributable sales growth. 

  • Excellent sales cycle skills with a track record for sales closure.

  • Strong proposal development and negotiation skills.

  • Persuasive verbal and presentation skills. 

  • Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills.

  • Highly energetic, highly motivated, self-starting.
