Our client is a young company presenting tremendous growth opportunity for it's employees. Leveraging best-of-breed technology and sophisticated operating processes, their leadership team is comprised of insurance and medical leaders dedicated to providing affordable malpractice coverage that supports and protects medical practitioners in today's complex health care environment. They currently offer an opportunity for an experienced Insurance Marketing Professional in several locations. There are multiple openings with this client. Locations include: Midwest: Kansas City and OH/WV. Southeast: NC/VA and MS/AL.  Southwest: AZ. 

As a Marketing Representative you will:

  • Be responsible for the continued growth and profitability of the territory through successful business development.

  • This includes managing broker relationships.

  • Attending Society meetings.

  • Assist agents with review, evaluation, and pricing of business and developing an understanding of the Company's underwriting philosophy and market direction.

  • Educate agents regarding new and existing products, claims business activities, and expense reduction initiatives.

  • Prospect, appoint, and train quality agents consistent with geographic strategy.  

Marketing Representative Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's in business, insurance, or related field.

  • Continuing education in CPCU, CIC, IIA, or related insurance studies.

  • Around 3 to 4 years of applicable insurance industry experience including experience in underwriting and/or marketing with a demonstrated knowledge of the P&C industry and the independent agency / brokerage environment.

  • Experience could come from a carrier, MGA or agency.

  • Established relationships within the independent agency channel.

  • Knowledge of Medical Malpractice a must.
