They presently offer an opportunity to join their sales staff as an Inside Sales Rep.

Inside Sales Representative responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through call-ins, referrals, telemarketing and direct mail.

  • Identify exposures and propose coverage to prospect.

  • Generate the renewal quotes for clients using various resources including rating software, manuals, or forwarding the application directly to the carrier.

  • Arrange loss control audits periodically.

  • Anticipate future needs and call on established clients to renew and upgrade accounts.

Inside Sales Representative qualifications:

  • Must offer extensive knowledge of Commercial Transportation insurance business.

  • An active P & C Agent license.

  • Must be organized, detail oriented, and efficient with excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to effectively work with others.

  • Must have a high level of problem-solving skills.

  • A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to deal with a large variety of personalities.

  • Demonstrated sales success.
