Insurance Job Description

Our client is a privately held General Agency whose mission is to enhance their customer’s insurance buying experience with high-speed service, improved technology and a dedication to accuracy. They offer programs through both admitted “A” or better rated carriers and exclusive E&S markets in all 50 U.S. states. They specialize in offering nationwide coverage in the Contractors, Inland Marine, Aviation, Agricultural, Self-Storage, Marine, and Forestry Industries. 

Senior Agribusiness Underwriter Responsibilities:

  • Underwrites Agribusiness accounts by analyzing applications, loss control reports, financial reports, etc.

  • Monitors the risk acceptability, pricing adequacy and classification accuracy of accounts to ensure profitability and managed growth of business.

  • Communicates on a regular basis to enhance agency relationships, promote profitability and growth of new business and the retention of existing business.

Senior Agribusiness Underwriter Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • In-depth knowledge of Commercial Agri-Business Insurance programs, policies, practices, coverages, forms, underwriting strategies.

  • Established relationships with retail agents.

  • Advanced insurance education highly desired, i.e., INS, AU, CPCU.
