Insurance Job Description

Our client is a privately held General Agency. Their focus is in developing three main areas of Inland Marine insurance. These programs are underwritten by admitted US companies with A- ratings or better (as determined by A.M. Best).  The coverages include:  

  • Builder's Risk \ Installation Coverage for Commercial and Residential Projects

  • Equipment Program for Agriculture, Forestry, Construction Industries

Our client is seeking talented marketing professionals in the Northeast and Northwest. In this role you will manage a territory for the client with their products in retail agencies. You'll be responsible for creating agency appointments, advertising all product capabilities, communicating needs with underwriters, and monitoring agency performance. 

Marketing Rep Qualifications:

  • Prior marketing, sales, or underwriting experience

  • Ability to travel and develop a regional agency base

  • Solid understanding of marketing techniques including prospecting new business and maintaining existing relationships

  • Working knowledge of their products is preferred
