Our client is a privately held General Agency. They are rolling out new commercial lines programs. These programs are underwritten by admitted US companies with A- ratings or better (as determined by A.M. Best). Their present focus includes:

  • Builder's Risk / Installation Coverage for Commercial and Residential Projects
  • Equipment Program for Agriculture, Forestry, Construction and Personal
  • Trucking
    •

    Due to these new program rollouts they presently offer an opportunity to join their dynamic organization in a Senior Underwriter role that will be working with program business. Locations of interest include Dallas, Denver, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

    Senior Program Underwriter Qualifications

    • To be considered for this newly created position you will need to offer around five to seven years commercial lines property and casualty underwriting experience (major stock company, mutual company or other underwriting entity).
    • Experience with Dealer Equipment, Agricultural, Forestry, Trucking, or Builders Risk business ideal.
    • Results oriented self-starter with good communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with our client's agents and business partners.
    • College degree or equivalent work experience. Insurance coursework such as AU, ARM or CPCU highly desirable.
    • Potential for accepting higher levels of authority and responsibility.
