Our client has a long and successful history of providing quality insurance products that dates back over 50 years. Today, they are among the top 50 Property and Casualty Insurance companies in the country and rank as one of the largest writers of non-standard automobile insurance through independent insurance agents. They presently offer an opportunity to join their organization as a Call Center Sales Manager in their Birmingham, AL location. As the Manager of Direct Sales you will supervise, train, evaluate and coordinate the activities of the sales staff assigned to your unit.

Call Center Sales Manager responsibilities:

  • Perform audit of employee work on a regular basis

  • Processes policy/sales transactions.

  • Monitors technology trends and makes recommendations for improvements.

  • Assists with development of sales plan including telemarketing programs.

  • Ensures that licensing is obtained and maintained by all staff members as required by states served.

  • Develops programs to increase sales through development of personnel, sales leads, etc.

Call Center Sales Manager qualifications:

  • Three (3) or more years experience in call center sales management.

  • Two (2) or more years of sales experience required.   Insurance sales preferred.

  • Proven ability to coach & motivate in a call center sales environment.

  • Knowledge of call center technologies including IVR, routing, performance measurement and recording tools preferred.

  • Knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverage and sales.
