They currently offer an opportunity to join their sales team as a Director of Group Sales.

Director of Group Sales Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on strategic design and execute a sales plan that positions our client as a leader in the employee benefit market

  • Provide thought leadership to the product and marketing groups on product requirements, competitor analysis, market conditions and approach

  • Develop and manage relationships with distribution sources in the employee benefit market

  • Coach and develop a highly effective consultative, solutions-driven sales team who will grow sales and reduce cycle time

  • Manage sales objectives, forecast and pipeline reporting to drive sales and market share growth

Director of Group Sales Qualifications

  • 7-10 years in sales, 5 years experience in managing a team.  Experience in the insurance or financial services industry required

  • Four-year college degree in business, marketing or communications from an accredited college or university or related work-experience.  MBA is a plus.

  • Thorough knowledge in the area (s) of sales, sales processes, negotiation and relationship management

  • Thorough knowledge of employee benefit, insurance, financial services industry

  • Thorough knowledge of broker distribution channels
