They currently offer an opportunity to join their sales team as a Regional Sales Manager. This position may be based anywhere within the Northeast. The location is open, as long as you are accessible to a major airport. In this position, you will sell and service a growing platform of group legal plans and employee benefits offered by our client and manage all sales activities in your assigned Region. This high profile position has major impact on revenue, costs, profits and growth.

Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains Agent / Broker / Consultant (ABC's) relationships that can product profitable business.
  • Responsible for the full sales cycle; researching and identifying lead generation, education, presentation, proposal development / RFP / presentation, etc.
  • Sells group legal plans and Enterprise Solution components to public and private sector employers.
  • Develops and updates a regional sales plan; forecasts potential new sales revenue; advises company on current sales trends and competitor knowledge.

Regional Sales Manager Qualifications

  • You must offer applicable insurance industry experience, professional designations (CEBS), and sales experience.
  • Experience in the employee benefits field serving the major employer markets is a plus.
  • Resident and non-resident Property and Casualty Insurance Agent license required.
  • This position will require around 30% travel.
