Insurance Job Description

Our client offers a long tradition with more than 75 years in the insurance business. They provide their customers with high-quality individual health and life insurance protection. They currently offer an opportunity to join their product department. As a Product Analyst you will complete responsibilities related to new product development, legislation and compliance procedures impacting products/rates. Work with insurance departments and Company personnel to support Product Management responsibilities.

Product Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Researching legal and compliance aspects of the new product, researching products from other companies, developing timetables for product completion.

  • Files new products with various state insurance departments for approval to ensure policy forms, text, and procedures are in compliance and approved according to state laws by researching requirements of states.

  • Processes, proofs, and implements changes to forms/procedures to ensure the Company is complying with the state laws and regulations by determining changes to forms approved by the insurance department.

Product Analyst Requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a Product Compliance Analyst.

  • Experience filing new products with various state insurance departments for approval; and processing, proofing, and implementing changes to forms/procedures.

  • Experience reviewing and analyzing legislation and regulations for impact on current products and on departmental operations and procedures.
