Insurance Job Description

Our client is a large, independent broker focused on building continuous relationships with clients.  They are pursuing growth in the personal lines insurance segment with the addition of a qualified, outside sales executive.  The agency is particularly interested in a producer with experience targeting affluent clients and who has relationships with prominent high net worth carriers like Chubb, Fireman's Fund, and AIG.  You'll be responsible for creating dual business development platforms.  The first will be to establish the necessary internal relationships to partner with other producers on existing agency business.  The second is to develop external relationships through trusted centers of influence.  Experience working in those networks is important and can include wealth managers, bankers, attorneys, and CPAs.   

Private Client Personal Lines Producer Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of independent insurance agency sales experience. 

  • Sales tenure must be active, outside cold calling experience with the ability to counsel clients who have critical risk management needs as a Private Client Group advisor. 

  • You need to be comfortable with creating marketing plans, actively soliciting new business, working on cross selling opportunities with existing agency clients, and establishing competitive marketing contracts.
