Insurance Job Description

Our client is a reputable insurance agency serving clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic.  They offer unique insurance programs designed to protect various businesses like hotels and restaurants, contractors, and manufacturers.  They are expanding into the greater Charlotte area and seek experienced producers.  Traditionally this agency has balanced revenue from commercial and employee benefits business and this new office will not be an exception.  Producers must offer existing relationships within a two hour radius of Charlotte including south towards Greenville, SC.  This corridor is an important expansion project targeting group employee benefits and commercial risks like manufacturing, agriculture, and construction.   

Producer Qualifications

  • This position requires aggressive prospecting of new business and exceptional retention of existing business

  • You must have a proven sales track record in commercial insurance or group employee benefits products

  • Prior direct or agency sales experience with middle market risks is required

  • Connections working in the Charlotte or northwestern South Carolina insurance markets
