Insurance Job Description

Our client is an insurance agency providing risk management and health consultancy to select groups.  They contract with group employee benefits carriers to provide competitive pricing and coverage to physicians groups and doctors’ associations.  Additionally they offer program services to support association growth, address administrative costs, and provide member education.  This position is a dual role encompassing individual production with the build up of a distribution platform and sales team. 

Executive Sales Qualifications

  • Experience as a producing manager able to direct and motivate a sales team

  • Prior insurance sales background under one of two platforms, either group benefits or commercial insurance targeting physicians with the ability under this association  to generate individual sales

  • Ability to interface directly with insureds to develop relationships, educate on group benefits product offerings, and close new business sales

  • Understanding of ERISA and MEWA
