Insurance Job DescriptionOur client is a large, independent agency growing rapidly through organic expansion and acquisition. With offices throughout California they've set forth intentional growth plans within their sales teams. Opportunities exist for experienced group benefits producers who can offer leadership in addition to personal sales capabilities. Leadership is defined by producers who can take on mentoring and training of less experienced producers, recognize opportunities for unique marketing and program design, and offer strategic business development solutions within a core group of agency leaders from all risk management disciplines. To be considered you must offer recent experience as an aggressive, successful independent benefits producer targeting self-funded groups. You can balance management and business development to increase the agency's market share through your direct production. If possible the opportunity exists to purchase your current book of business, or you can prepare an action plan outlining a timeline for building a book of business.
