Insurance Job Description

Our client is one of the largest excess and surplus wholesale brokers in the country.  They operate distinct wholesale divisions under one corporation with their program business competing nationally.  Two of their strongest national programs focus on specialty commercial auto and educational institutions. They seek experienced underwriters to bring product understanding and marketing capabilities to their team. 

Production Underwriter Qualifications

  • 3+ years of multi-line commercial underwriting with a focus in commercial auto, D&O, E&O, excess & umbrella policies

  • Prior program work with public auto risks or educational institutions preferred but not required

  • Desire to market and ability to travel as needed to strengthen retail agency relationships
