Insurance Job Description

Our client is a larger regional agency based in the Southeast.  They offer risk management programs including commercial insurance, group benefits, and personal lines.  They are interested in expanding their commercial sales team with the addition of an experienced producer. Specifically, this position will be charged with building a profitable book of business in the commercial healthcare market including, but not limited to, assisted living facilities, doctors groups, and hospitals.  You'll also be charged with representing the agency within the healthcare community including at trade shows, conventions, and industry associations.  

Sales Executive Qualifications

  • Five (5) or more years working in insurance sales and marketing with a heavy emphasis on prospecting new business, advising insureds on risk management programs, and being involved in post-sale client service

  • Medical malpractice or professional liability experience is ideal but candidates with a general commercial insurance sales background will be strongly considered

  • Self-motivator with the ability to work independently
