Insurance Job Description

Our client is a large, independent broker focused on building continuous relationships with clients.  They believe providing full insurance services, including diverse employee benefits options, promotes the efficiency and profitability of clients and the agency. They have two excellent growth opportunities within their Group Employee Benefits practice.   Producers with the ability to independently generate new accounts are highly desired.  The agency is open to creative sales methods and developing cross-selling opportunities for its agents amongst all divisions.  As a producer you are responsible for expanding existing client relationships along with acquiring new ones by actively networking in the community.   

Employee Benefits Producer Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of insurance sales experience preferably with experience targeting groups over 100 lives

  • Ability to transfer industry relationships and approach business with an entrepreneurial attitude

  • Successful history generating new business leads, networking within associations and industry groups, and closing business in the middle market segment
