Our client is a reputable independent agency dedicated to serving businesses with changing risk management needs.  They help control costs and mitigate risk factors that affect a variety of accounts from local agricultural risks to national high tech manufacturers.  Their Employee Benefits division is an important part of their diversity and they seek a creative, driven agent to oversee the continued development of group benefits business in the Twin Falls, ID office. This role requires aggressive sales prospecting of new business and ongoing relationship building with existing clients.  Some business may be immediately transferred to help start your book of business but the success earned in this position will largely be due to your own sales success.  You'll be supported by a complimentary commercial team that may be able to provide resources to compliment your local networking. 

Employee Benefits Producer Qualifications

  • Strong sales background with insurance experience; preference given to candidates who have worked with group benefits or individual products  in a current or previous sales and marketing role

  • Understanding of the local or regional economy including contacts with local businesses, trade associations, or an existing insurance client base

  • Ability to work within a sales and service team including coordination of sales and marketing efforts with producers located in other offices
