Insurance Job Description

Our client is successful, national insurance brokerage. Their number one priority is servicing clients in a timely, organized and efficient manner.  Renewing business is paramount to their continued success.  They seek a customer service professional to join their construction team.  You are responsible for the organization of all renewal policies.  You'll manage a large amount of premium with oversight of binders, submissions, quotes, and policy changes.  You'll assist the producer with pre-qualify risks, ensuring the accuracy of submissions, and occasionally be involved with price negotiations.  Once the policy is bound you'll coordinate billing, endorsement requests, cancellations, and renewal information. 

Commercial Insurance Account Manager Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of strong commercial insurance service experience serving in one of the following capacities:  Independent agency CSR or Account Manager; Associate Broker for a wholesale broker or Managing General Agency; or Underwriting Assistant for a commercial insurer.

  • Must have strong, deep knowledge of commercial construction risks, both general contractors and artisan contractors, and the coverage involved in those risks like high deductibles, wraps, excess coverage, etc.

  • Highly organized and able to work in fast paced environment.

  • Familiarity with processing of billing, endorsements, policy review, and submission preparation.
