Insurance Job Description

Our client is one of the largest independent agencies in Colorado.  They've built a successful, family owned company around flourishing regional industries like construction, manufacturing, and distribution.  Their staff members are recognized industry leaders in designing unique risk management programs for contractors.  Historically their commercial producers have individually managed each client's contract surety needs.  This position will be the creation of a new role exclusively designed for bond sales.  It will work closely with the construction team to outline the sales and marketing plan for increasing surety revenue.  It will manage client and company relationships and recognize areas of financial risk for insureds.   

Surety Account Executive Qualifications

  • Approximately 5-10 years of surety experience as a bond sales advisor or as a commercial insurance producer selling bonds as a part of an overall construction risk management package

  • Detailed understanding of construction related bonds (bid, performance, payment, etc.) along with the front line selection and service processes important to meeting a client's needs

  • Marketing and sales experience with an understanding of the team sales process and a client centered approach to customer service
