Insurance Job Description

Our client is a multi-line insurance agency recognized as an emerging leader in the size and scope of their risk management operations.  They are a relationship driven firm focused on impacting many specialized property and casualty markets.  They seek an experienced Account Manager to assist the sales team with service for existing clients. You'll provide a number of important administrative responsibilities including renewal management, policy changes, billing, claims facilitation, and continuous client relationship building.  The accounts involved vary across many industries so a broad knowledge of commercial insurance is important.   

Commercial Lines Account Manager Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience as a commercial account manager, account executive, or CSR

  • Understanding of broad commercial insurance coverage including property, work comp, general liability, umbrella and excess coverage, and commercial auto

  • Ability to professionally interface with the client including delivering coverage information, discussing renewal and pricing options, managing billing questions, and assisting with policy reviews and endorsement requests

  • Can work independently and act as the primary client service representative

  • Hold an IL P&C license or obtain one shortly after hire
