Insurance Job Description

Our client is a financially strong property & casualty insurance company located in South Florida.  They seek motivated, marketing oriented underwriters to join their work comp and commercial auto divisions as underwriting managers.

As Underwriting Manager

  • You'll oversee the underwriting methods of a team of underwriters with an emphasis on driving new business production

  • You'll generate budget and strategic marketing plans and provide training to your staff

  • Marketing responsibilities will include some travel to develop new agency contacts and enhance existing relationships

Underwriting Manager Qualifications

  • 7 or more years of underwriting experience with workers compensation or commercial auto coverage

  • Knowledge of Florida insurance regulations and ISO forms

  • Previous management experience
