Insurance Job Description

Our client has a strong insurance concentration in construction.  The bond department is designed to provide technical resources to the agency's producers while also advising clients on their program options.  This position requires detailed experience in financial analysis, contract surety and capabilities in marketing and client service. 

Surety Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • You'll serve as an internal resource with the risk management sales team to discuss specific accounts, assess the surety department's current capabilities and implement changes necessary to offer competitive resources for clients.

  • Consult with clients regarding specific bond projects; assess their financial strength, assist with marketing of new programs, and educate clients on ways to improve financial standing to obtain optimum surety programs.

  • Actively engage with insurance producers on joint sales calls and support continued retention and relationship building with contractors. 

Surety Account Executive Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least two (2) years of surety underwriting experience.

  • Healthy relationships with surety carriers; understanding of how to persuade markets to take on complex cases.

  • Client centered approach to customer service.

  • Analytical and sales oriented with experience in membership with construction, surety, or other civil and trade organizations.
