Insurance Job Description

Our client is a privately held, independent agency serving businesses and individuals in the Gulf Coast for over 100 years. They've built a business based on excellent customer service, dedication and innovation in risk management techniques for large accounts. They seek a claims professional, experienced in high profile, catastrophic claims, to lead their claims division.

As Claims Manager

  • You'll serve as the claims expert on a team of senior agency executives dedicated to addressing the exposures and existing claims of multi-million insureds
  • You'll proactively seek out solutions with carriers on long-tail general liability or catastrophic property claims to reduce the financial or legal impact to the client
  • You'll supervise a team of claims representatives to improve the efficiency and reporting service provided to these important customers

Claims Manager Qualifications

  • Highly desired candidates will have significant experience handling hurricane and other catastrophic claims as it relates to the Gulf Coast
  • 10-15 years of claims examining and supervision, preferably with designing and developing programs in a retail agency system
