Insurance Job Description

Our client is a privately held, independent agency serving businesses and individuals in the Gulf Coast for over 100 years.  They've built a business based on excellent customer service, dedication and innovation in risk management techniques for large and small accounts.  They currently offer an opportunity to join their firm as an account manager. 

As Account Manager

  • You'll focus on the marketing of new and existing business and negotiating with carriers the most competitive rates and coverage to create a total insurance package

  • You'll work independently on long term projects that involve compiling submissions, analyzing loss data and creating risk management proposals

Account Manager Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of insurance experience working in a sales, marketing or customer service and preferably be P&C licensed

  • Can work independently and take control of a significant book of P&C business

  • Highly desired candidates will have experience targeting the following business areas: construction, real estate, hospitality, manufacturing and transportation

  • Enthusiastic professional motivated by excellent client management and career growth
