Insurance Job Description

Our client is a midsized, profitable independent P & C insurance agency located in Washington, DC who represents all major regional, national, and international carriers.  They currently offer an opportunity for a Producer, developing new business and servicing existing commercial clients.  Client prefers a professional who can bring their book of business, but will consider a promising licensed candidate with sales ability and commercial experience without a book.

Producer Requirements:

  • Must have active P & C license.

  • Your background will include significant experience attracting and retaining middle market commercial business 

  • Must have produced a significant book of property/casualty business in a variety of industries.        

  • Must be well respected and networked within your community.

  • You will need to offer a minimum of three years of successful commercial lines sales experience with a carrier or independent agency. 

Compensation:    Base pay (depends on experience), commission and outstanding benefits.
