Insurance Job Description

Our client is a large regional insurance agency that is also part of a very large international financial organization.  They have an immediate need for a Sales Representative to join their Property & Casualty Affinity Business division preferably in one of their offices in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic.  They seek a dynamic individual who will be able to have an immediate impact and contribute from day one. 

Sales Representative, Affinity Business Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing Affinity personal lines business in assigned territory.

  • Make sales calls, gather information, and explain programs offered.

  • Provide information to answer prospect questions based on personal knowledge of the industry, various specialty lines of insurance, and other areas.

  • Coordinate with carriers, marketing, and internal departments to finalize sales details.

  • Meet regularly with internal referral sources to establish business relationships and develop network of outside referral sources for new business. 

Sales Representative, Affinity Business Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.

  • 3-5 years of related sales experience in the insurance industry preferred.

  • State licenses required to sell personal lines products.

  • Additional professional designations (CPCU, CIC, ARM) a plus.
