Insurance Job Description

Our client is a large regional insurance agency that is also part of a very large international financial organization.  They have an immediate need for a Personal Lines Sales Representative to join their Property & Casualty division in their office in Mt. Laurel.  They seek a dynamic individual who will be able to have an immediate impact and contribute from day one. 

Personal Lines Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Sell personal lines insurance products and services to referred prospects and/or customers through inbound or outbound call efforts.

  • Obtain information from prospects to determine which products and services may be appropriate.

  • Work with carrier partners to market and quote new business.

  • Communicate pricing and other information to prospects to close sales.

  • Instruct prospects in completing necessary applications and coordinate gathering documents. 

Personal Lines Sales Representative Requirements

  • 2-4 years of related sales experience in the insurance industry preferred.

  • State licenses required to sell personal lines products.

  • Knowledge of agency management systems a plus.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced call center environment a must.
