Insurance Job Description

Our client is a well known insurance company that has been conducting business for nearly sixty years.  They offer a wide variety of insurance products and are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative. 

Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities

  • Qualify, sell, and consult with clients and prospects on professional liability needs.

  • Provide follow up contact with pre-determined prospects via the phone.

  • Collect key prospect information such as key decision makers, policy renewal dates, current provider information and needs analysis.

  • Extend products to prospects and work with internal staff to package insurance products as appropriate.

  • Follow up and close on issued prospect quotes within established timelines.

  • Provide tracking and reporting of sales activity and continued relationship development through internal prospect database. 

Inside Sales Representative Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • 2-3 years of experience with phone selling, with insurance experience desirable.

  • Personal and commercial lines license required within one month of employment.
