Insurance Job Description

Our client is a large national broker that is looking for a National Sales Leader for their voluntary benefits program that is located in the Midwest.  They have best of class products and services, as well as a well established infrastructure and operation to support the sales efforts.  They are looking for an aggressive and accomplished sales executive that has a long history of managing sales teams for optimum results. 

National Sales Leader, Voluntary Benefits Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the P&L of a multi-million dollar voluntary benefits operation.

  • Will recruit, hire, train, and mentor other Sales Professionals.

  • Serve as main point of contact for escalated issues as well as assisting in closing complex and high level accounts.

  • Report to executive team to provide sales reporting and bottom line results.

  • Some production required, mostly to ensure achievement of annual revenue goals. 

National Sales Leader, Voluntary Benefits Requirements

  • 10-15 years of sales leadership experience with group voluntary products.

  • Broker experience preferred, but open to looking at carrier experience as well.

  • Previous management experience with history of sales success.

  • Extensive travel required.
