Insurance Job Description

Our client is a leading national risk and insurance firm that is looking to add to staff nationwide.  They are experiencing dynamic growth and need qualified sales professionals in their association life & health/employee benefits division. 

Sales Professional, Association Life & Health, Professional Liability Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of prospect development from pre-sale through close.

  • Develop referral sources, identify new clients, and ensure a consistent flow of revenue.

  • Lead the coordination of organizational resources necessary to drive the sale to completion.

  • Generate additional revenue opportunities by introducing and leveraging other products and services as appropriate.

  • Transition new clients to an internal team member and support the implementation of new business transactions to account management status. 

Sales Professional, Association Life & Health, Professional Liability Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

  • 5-7 years of applicable industry sales experience, ideally with large national groups.

  • Proven industry experience selling to associations/affinity groups.

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with multiple decision makers on complex sales at the C-level with very large employers (5,000+ employees).

  • Applicable state Life & Health insurance license (s) required.

  • Experience working with lawyers preferred.
