Our client is a leading risk and insurance firm that is looking for a qualified Account Manager.  They are expanding on an exciting project that just began last year and has experienced explosive growth.  They are looking for team-oriented individuals that are looking for an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that also offers room for career advancement.   

Commercial Lines Account Manager Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary client relationship manager with responsibility for overall account servicing and maintenance. 

  • Expand client relationships by analyzing, communicating and eliminating coverage gaps, ensuring that a client's risk is being managed in an optimal manner. 

  • Review and analyze client exposures, loss experience, and current coverages to recommend appropriate products and services. 

  • Gather information from the client related to risk management/commercial needs in order to evaluate the best way to manage the client's risk. 

  • Identify appropriate potential carriers to approach on behalf of the client, negotiate the placement and bind coverage. 

Commercial Lines Account Manager Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of commercial lines account management experience, preferably in an agency environment. 

  • Iowa Commercial Lines license required within 60 days of hire.
