Insurance Job Description

Our client is part of an organization that has been providing financial services products for over sixty years.  They are rated 'A' for Excellent by A.M. Best and are currently positioned for explosive growth.  They are looking for an Annuity Wholesaler to join their growing team in Des Moines, Iowa.

External Wholesaler Responsibilities

  • Promote the sale of insurance and annuity products through direct support of Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs) and proactive promotions to groups of company agents.

  • Conduct regular visits to marketing organizations to secure better relations, promote company products and services, and obtain information useful to the Annuity Sales Director in establishing and maintaining marketing programs and practices.

  • Actively assist IMOs in the recruitment, training and motivation of agents.

  • Serve as a home office liaison for IMOs, providing assistance in obtaining support and resolving issues.

  • Assist the Annuity Sales Director in recruiting new IMOs.

External Wholesaler Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus at least eight years of insurance sales experience.

  • State Life Insurance license required.

  • Extensive travel required, with valid driver's license and maintenance of a clean driving record.
