Insurance Job Description

Our client is a large independent agency looking to add to staff in their commercial lines division in a marketing and carrier relations role. 

Commercial Lines Marketing Manager Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary agency representative to develop marketing relationships with underwriters and brokers.

  • Identify advantageous, unique programs to compliment or diversify existing commercial business.

  • Provide resources alongside producers and internal staff on complex or difficult new business or renewal accounts.

  • Report internal findings on premium volume, retention, loss ratios, and open claims spread amongst current company contracts. 

Commercial Lines Marketing Manager Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5-7 years of industry experience, preferably on the agency side.

  • Existing insurance company/carrier relationships a plus.

  • In-depth technical knowledge of submission process and agency management systems desired.

  • Industry designations and continuing education preferred.
