Our client is a leading international insurance and financial services organization. They presently offer an opportunity to join their organization as a Senior Life Underwriter. In this role you will underwrite for acceptance or decline applications up to an established authority. You will perform underwriting audits and deliver underwriting training programs in the field offices. You will review medical requirements and medical provider networks. Monitor and report on trends and events which relate and impact underwriting. You will be receiving, underwriting and corresponding with our client's field offices around the world. To be considered you will need to offer around five to seven years of applicable individual life underwriting experience. Strong knowledge of insurance principles including mortality, insurable interest and actuarial theory. Proven knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, human biology and anatomy, accounting as it applies to sound financial underwriting and risk assessment. You will need oral and written skills with the Spanish Language. You do not need to be fluent in speaking the Spanish language however but must be able to underwrite in Spanish.
