Our client is a leader in the insurance industry. They offer a 'Superior' rating by A.M. Best. They are experiencing explosive growth within their specialty lines area. Due to this growth they have created several new opportunities to join their specialty claims staff as a Material Damage Claims Specialist. In this position you will be working losses involving commercial vehicles such as over the road trucks and short haul (dump trucks, cement mixers, garbage trucks) as well as mobile agricultural equipment, cranes, and bulldozers. You can be located in any of the following cities; Birmingham, AL, Indianapolis, IN, or Denver CO. This will be a work from home opportunity. Our client will provide a company vehicle and home office. You can expect to travel 60-80%, within an 8 hour driving territory. You will act as a technical advisor to regions within your territory. Recommend standards, policies and practices relative to Specialty Claim Handling. Responsible for developing, updating and maintaining a pricing/vendor database. Responsible for developing repair/vendor relations. To be considered you must offer around eight (8) or more years material damage/physical damage claims handling with strong knowledge of heavy equipment and truck material damage/physical damage claims handling. Professional designation such as marine and/or heavy equipment surveyor and undergraduate studies desirable. Solid knowledge of computer usage a must. Ability to work independently and manage a large geographical territory required. Excellent oral and written communication is a must.
