Insurance Job Description

Our client is a privately held insurance carrier with more than 20 years experience in the specialized property/casualty industry. They are a leader in commercial insurance products for transportation, public auto and workers compensation. Their claims department has experienced significant growth and they have an increased need for experienced management.

As Claims Supervisor

  • You'll oversee a team of experienced BI/PD adjusters and handle claims reserved in excess of their level of authority
  • You'll serve as a resource to those adjusters needing assistance in resolving serious, high-profile claims including those in litigation
  • You'll help manage case loads and train your team on analytical, cost effective ways to quickly resolve claims

Claims Supervisor Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of multi-state commercial auto adjusting experience; 2 years of which should be in a management role
  • Preference given to candidates with transportation and public auto backgrounds
  • Must have extensive knowledge of the Florida insurance market
  • Florida adjusters license required
