Insurance Job Description

Our client is one of the country's leading regional insurers. They currently offer an opportunity to join their claims team in Fort Wayne, IN as a Resident Claims Adjuster. In this role you will work out of your home handling the following types of claims:

  • Bodily Injury
  • Uninsured Motorists
  • Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
  • Personal & Commercial Property and casualty losses including products and completed operations losses.

Resident Claims Adjuster Job Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of all personal and commercial lines policies and coverages.
  • A solid knowledge of tort law and medical terms.
  • Excellent knowledge of auto repair and building reconstruction.
  • Ability to write auto & building estimates.
  • Considerable experience as an outside claims adjuster and possess excellent negotiation and investigation skills.
  • Continuing insurance education is desired including Vale National Estimating and work towards CPCU.
