They currently offer an opportunity to join their underwriting unit as an Underwriting Supervisor. In this role you will manage a team of 7-10 Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants. Duties will include addressing all employee relations issues within the team. Review escalated cases. Auditing Underwriters. You must be able to determine and explain complex underwriting decisions to internal and external contacts. Have the ability to explain decisions. Provide leadership/motivation for group. To be considered you must offer a Bachelor Degree. Five (5) or more years Individual Health Underwriting experience. Superior medical knowledge including ability to review/interpret medical history. Ability to lead/direct team members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous Supervisory experience preferred.
