In this position, Workers Compensation Adjuster, you will perform file and claims supervision. This will include determining company liability and degree of compensability involved, investigating, reviewing and negotiating claims settlements. In addition, you will review files for appropriate reserving, progress of case and ability of claimant to return to work. To be considered you will need to offer around six or more years of work comp adjusting experience with a carrier or private work comp vendor. Knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations and litigation procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology, treatments and severity of various medical injuries.
