Our client is a managed care healthcare company that is currently seeking a Manager of Network Operations for their health plan in Kansas. You will be responsible for institutional and complex contracting. Duties will include providing oversight to departmental operations and/or staff, overseeing contract implementation, ensuring accuracy with regard to claims payments, and establishing and providing oversight of the department's policies, procedures and practices. You will also manage project planning, net strategy, contracting, and implementation of provider network issues.

Qualified candidates will have five or more years of managed care experience with 3-4 years of experience in network development. At least two years of Institutional Contracting experience required. Expert knowledge of provider (physician, ancillary, and hospital) contracting/negotiations, provider relations and configuration, standards for managed care delivery and cost containment programs. Knowledge of ICD-9, DRG, per diem, per case, and CPT codes, capitation models and arrangements desired. Master's degree preferred.
