Our client is a privately held, independent agency serving businesses and individuals in the Gulf Coast for over 100 years. They've built a business based on excellent customer service, dedication and innovation in risk management techniques for large and small accounts. Due to the impact of recent hurricanes on the insurance industry they seek a marketer familiar with the unique dynamics of the Gulf region. This position will control a large, diverse book of property/casualty business for middle and large market clients. You'll aid the sales executive in assessing an insured's exposures and setting marketing plans in place. You'll rely on your contacts in the industry to negotiate rates and coverage for new and renewal quotes. Much of this business will have unique hazards or adverse loss history so an individual must be well connected to E&S markets. To be considered you must offer 5+ years of marketing experience for an agency. Must have a demonstrated ability to negotiate, establish market relationships and handle submissions for large, complex clients. Salary is based on experience.
